From the Ashes – NPR and Boulder Reporting Lab
I pitched, co-reported, photographed and wrote this story of three Marshall Fire survivors who found new meaning in old keepsakes after the blaze. Spearheading a partnership between myself, the Boulder Reporting Lab, KUNC, and NPR, the story reached wide audiences and supported local news organizations and public radio.

Working as a general assignment reporter on a month-long, part-time contract, I reported and wrote stories on tight deadlines spanning a wide variety of news and features. A couple of my favorites include Colorado's oldest woman turning 113 and the first Denver March Powow back after the pandemic, which disproportiately impacted Indigenous communities.
